Messages are the only usage charge
OTPs, abandoned-checkout nudges and address-update links all bill at your plan's rate for the channel they went out on. The rate depends on the channel, never on what the message was for. An order that sends no message costs you nothing.
No per-order fee
COD and partial orders carry no per-order charge. A $0.05 verification fee existed in an earlier version of CODGuard and has been removed. COD orders are still counted for your dashboard and plan limits — they are simply never charged for.
Usage is capped
Every plan carries a Shopify capped amount — $50 on Free, Starter and Growth, $100 on Enterprise. Usage charges stop at the cap until you approve a higher one, so a runaway month cannot quietly bill you.
No trials, on any plan
Nothing starts a countdown you have to remember to cancel. The Free plan is the trial: it is a real ₹0 subscription with the same verification, scoring and rules as the rest, and you only pay for messages you actually send.
Historic rates are honoured
Every message stores the exact rate it was billed at. Your billing page values past messages at what they actually cost, not at your current plan's rate.
Shopify bills in US dollars
Shopify charges every app in USD and app-store prices cannot be listed in another currency. The rupee figures are what each plan is named after, fixed at ₹83 = $1; the dollar amount beside them is what Shopify actually takes.

Every plan — Free included — is a real Shopify subscription with a usage line item, because usage has to have something to bill against. Approving the ₹0 plan takes one click and costs nothing, but until it is approved CODGuard will not send OTPs.
